Beirut: Israeli overnight airstrikes on several towns in southern Lebanon have resulted in the deaths of 14 individuals and injuries to 63 others, as reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The bombings targeted the towns of Sarafand, Harat Saida, and Bazourieh, causing significant casualties and damage.
According to Jordan News Agency, a security source detailed that the Israeli warplanes conducted a nighttime airstrike specifically on the village of Sarafand, which resulted in the deaths of 10 people and injuries to more than 25 others, the majority of whom were women and children. The security source further reported that five individuals were injured in additional airstrikes on the towns of Joya, Bazourieh, Sarba, Roumine, and Khiam.
Airstrikes have also been recorded in the Bekaa Valley, impacting the city of Baalbek, the Bouday area, and Wadi al-Zein, which are part of the western mountain ranges of the Lebanon Mountains. The situation has escalated tensions in the region, drawing international c
