Beirut: Caretaker Foreign Minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, received a phone call from his Austrian counterpart, Alexander Schallenberg, following a rocket attack that injured Austrian UNIFIL soldiers in the south. During the contact, Bou Habib condemned the attack, stressing the obligation to protect the safety and security of UN personnel and property. He also reiterated Lebanon’s commitment to implementing UN Resolution 1701. Bou Habib also contacted UNIFIL Commander, Major General Aroldo Lazaro, condemning the attack.
